I know one dealer that was just winding the secondarys up full tight. They ran them on the grass like that too. Did the same thing to their race doo's too.

Q: What do you use the sled for and what's your compression like?

A 60/40 or a 60/44 fully progressive helix with a green secondary in the middle hole. Choose the helix you want for the different applications, varying belt clamp and top speed required. * I'm editing this cuz I've lost my notes. With these helixes the primary is best set up with an orange/white spring but, I don't recall what weight was used? For the 40 finish angle I originally used the stock black spring with roughly 51g of weight in the initial tests. Again, the orange /white spring is best. You may need a bit less weight for the 44 finish angle. You will have to play with the weight to get peak RPM, so its best using composite fly weights for best results. Sorry I cant get more specific in the primary set up.

Good luck and happy tunning.

Another thing, If your going to use that setup just for snow-X, it will help to gear down from the stock 20/43 72P to either a 19/43 72P or a 20/44 74P. That 60/44 helix is great for snow-X and that 60/40 is great for hill-X and speed runs (X-country).

Have fun.....
