I would honestly skip it if it works,,,,I think your gonna find that that is not a cheap part as you probably cant just buy the tab/flipper/button (whatever you wanna call it), I bet your gonna have to buy the entire switch.
Ebay just had a lot of part listed for a sabercat 500,,,, I dont think they are the same though,,,,I did include the diagram from browns,,,

Yeah you have to buy the whole switch. For some reason they dont show left hand side switch for the sleds but in the link Brian posted it is #39 and cost almost $30.00 CAD.

Hey, it really doesnt look that bad,,,,dont worry about it,,,, or a thought (did you hear the bell go off,,,,or was it just me), anyhow,,, your gonna part out your old yamaha,,,, take a few parts to the local salvage yard and work out a trade,,,, I have a place down the road that I take parts to and trade for other parts that I need,,,,
you may find out that they have your seat that you are looking for and maybe a nice drive and driven clutch that they would trade you,,,,, never know,,,but its worth asking

Try Alpha-Sports.com and look up your specific model ( http://www.alpha-sports.com/arctic_cat_parts.htm). I think your part goes for about $26 plus shipping.
Good luck,
