500 Pipes

I was wondering if a 1999 or 2000 polaris xc 500 pipe would fit on a 1997 indy 500?Any peice of advice is very appreciated. Thanx

yes, should bolt right on......just change the gaskets while your at it too.....good luck..and it will more power believe it or not...

when i said it will add more power i mean the new pipe on the older sled, not about the gaskets

Well for starter's the 1997 indy 500 is a fuji motor. The 1999 and 2000 xc 500 has case reed induction, I'm not sure the name of the motor though. The motors are totally different. So therefore pipes will not work. Just look at the size of the pipes, the xc 500 is like twice as fat.

if you look at the spots on the block so tmount the pipe, it is the same.......my brother did it..i'll get the scopp from him..idk, mabye he had to mod something but for the most part it will fit..
