i have a 01 mxz 700. what do you guys think on the stock 25/43 gears in the sled? this is my first doo, and i love it, but in my many years of cat tuning, i always geared as tall as possible without affecting the hole shot. was wondering what you guys ran for gears in your sleds, and the results, thanks.

I have the same sled and, I dropped the top gear down 2 and run a 23 tooth. It really brought the sled to life. Mid range response is great now. Hole shot is worse more spin off the line, sled is not studed will be next year. Lost about 5 mph on the top end but its a ditch banger and sees more woods then lakes so top end isn't important to me.
