You can ride in one of the six state parks but otherwise no public trails.

Check this out http://dep.state.ct.us/stateparks/recinfo/snowmob.htm. I'll be hitting some of those this season.

There is one active club I am aware of. This is all the info I have I found on the sledmass.org website. They have their own trails. I would have joined if I had not been "elected" secretary of the club I belong to in New Hampshire.

Nipmuck Trail Riders Snowmobile Club, Inc.
P.O. Box 33
Stafford Springs, CT 06706

Meetings 1st Tuesday of the month, Sept. through April 7:30 P.M.

Memorial Hall, Stafford, CT.

There are clubs but they all pretty much trailer North. I am origianlly from CT and tend to ride on local farmers fields with their permission.

Ya there are actually a good amount of trails open now (at least good for CT). The longest one is less than 20 miles and most aren't even 10 miles but they are trails!
