My cousin is having a problem w/ his 96 fz. 2002 engine was rebuilt/ 6000 miles
Since his rebuild the sled will sometimes run fine, and then foul out. New plugs and she runs fine, and the cycle repeats itself. Now this fall he gets it to start for a few seconds and then it stalls. Plugs very wet, and oily. I was was thinking cdi, but he says he tested it and its ok, any ideas?
Thanks

Pull off ignition and kill swith to make sure it isn't an electrical fault there. If not...and its not the CDI. Its probably the stator like my 96 F3 was!
