I'm in California this week, and had a layover in Denver for an hour. Flying into D was awesome because the mountains were covered in the white stuff. I looked as hard as I could to see if there were any sleds on them, but didn't see any. Just the same, it was great to see and easier to understand how some of you lucky @#$$# get to start riding so early and late in the season.

Doc, I know we weren't really near your place, but thought of you in the mountains.

Thanks for asking Joel....so far, so good. I'll have monthly follow-ups for a while. The heart still flutters once in a while, but I guess I'll have to live with that. The worst thing is, I have to lay off the chocolates and caffeine :bash: (and alcohol, but no big deal there). Hopefully yours isn't giving you any more problems.

I'll be out here for another week. I'll be getting the sleds out of storage when I get home. I'll call ya when we go to Ken's for a little grass runnin'.

It is definitely just around the corner. Do any of you guys put faith in the statement "What moisture doesn't come as rain in the fall, will come as snow in the winter!"

Yep, it snowed just a little bit here in MN last night. It made me very happy. I hope it's just a taste of what's to come.
