What is the best clutch kit that some people have experience with for this machine?
I keep hearing a clutch and a pipe and this machine will rock.

I have a goodwin clutch kit on mine, Pretty awesome results with that. I would save your money on the pipe though.

Yeah, I'm a little leary of the pipe for the minimal performance that comes with it for the price. Though they do sound sweet.

How much did you have to tweak the jetting when you piped it? Just curious.

My brother has an 01' 700 early order adrenaline. All he did was put on a 1 1/4" conical lug track and gear it. I am not a Doo guy but I really must admit this is one hell of a sled. I would put it up against most 800's and it will even hang with the F-Cats. Doo did a pretty good job dialing in the clutching and did a great job with the pipe at least in 01'. Personally, unless you get into crazy motor mods I would just mess with the gears and tweak the clutch. Don't waste your money on the pipe and definitely forget about the can. All they do is load up, back fire and make too much trail closing noise.
my 2cents.

The 2000 mxz7 really likes a dynoport pipe!! Ski doo changed the pipe for 2001 so the gains arent as good on '01 and newer models. For clutching try a 200/350 spring, 19gm pins 287 ramps and a 54/48 helix with the stock secondary spring works very good

Tough to beat Goodwins kit on these 2000 700's. Very close to what TT670 says.

I second that but like a lil more spring in the primary. we had good results with a set of crankshops twins on a 700 here, it will run dead on with the stock piped sled with a guy that is 40-50 lbs heavier. not sure about justifying the costs for the power though.

This is a good combo:

287 ramps(part#417005287) ,200/320 spring , solid pins, 50/47 cam(#486076200 at B6 w/new beige(#414558900), and 25/44 gear, 417300127 belt,teflon buttons(#415064100

DP pipe works good on 2000 mxz 700

I run both DP pipe and can, runs great.
