I saw in an article about Ontario heading to a regulation that gasoline in Ontario will contain an average of 5% ethanol by '06 or '07.
I already knew that Sunoco gas sold in the province contained 10%. But what I didn't know is that Esso fuels sold here contain no ethanol. No word about Shell or Petro Canada. Mind you I expect the Petro Canada gas must contain some kind of deicer as they always advertise their "Winter Gas".

From what I have been told by local small engines dealer, the only fuel on Ontario that has no ethanol is Esso and Shell.

For the most part I've been buying gas @ Shell stations in Oshawa or Bowmanville for my weekend supply. When I'm out on the trail I take what I can get.

Isn't that the truth. Paid through the nose last March for two jerry-cans in Northern Ontario. No choice, ouch!!

Last March @ Fraserdale we paid $1.60/L I'm not sure if it was premium or regular. The sled didn't blow up (SDI premium only according to Bombi) so it must have been premium .
