Thumbs up

The RydeFx shocks in my wifes 98 ZL 500 are shot!

I got a good deal on a complete rear skid off a 2002 ZR with only 700 miles. I assume I'll have no problems installing this skid in the ZL? That is after I get the shocks rebuilt. Or should I put my 99 ZR 600 skid in the ZL and take the 02 skid for myself. What's the difference? If I remember correctly the 02 ZR skid is coupled. Do I want the coupled suspension or would it be better for the wife?

Now what can I do with the ski shocks in the front end. It already has the 43" stance so I can't see going with 2000 and up ZR A-arms and matching shocks. Are there any Fox or ACT rebuildable shocks that can be used as a direct replacement for the stock RydeFx shocks that came with the sled? From the research I've done they all have different compressed and extended lengths.

Thanks,
Jeff
