I need some help here. Ive burnt up 2 new belts in only 300 miles. Im assuming i need to align my clutches or check for any broken motor mounts. I installed a D&D clutch kit. Does anyone have a picture showing how to align the clutches? 02 ZR 800 efi. Thanks.

First off...........STOP RIDING THE SLED TILL YOU FIGURE THE PROBLEM OUT, if you blow a belt it may damage your crankshaft.
Next, did you have the same problem before installing the kit? If not just installing a clutch kit will not throw your clutches out of align. Did you install the kit as directed? Good ldea to check for a broken mount but did you check belt deflection?
Sound like you need to back track and carefully check your install.

are you breaking them in before you put the power to them? new belts need about 30 miles of on/off throttle and no full throttle for at least that many miles.

Clutches just don't fall out of alignment unless you've messed with your tensioner and you'd definitely know if your motor mounts are broken! Are these belts OEM? Clutch sheaves spotless?

My guess is you're riding in deep snow now, right? Your belt is probably slipping at the secondary causing it to heat up and eat belts. You'd probably be wise to gear down on or two teeth on top, especially since you put the clutch kit on. Do that and I can almost promise you PROBLEM SOLVED (and you'll be faster too).

I haven't touched any tensioners or anything. Im riding on about 8-10 inches of snow most of which is packed. When i get time i will take a good look at everything. They are oem belts. Thanks

Sounds to me like it's time to back up a few steps..........take both clutches off then clean and inspect them carefully (rollers are prone to seize on the spider) / inspect your motor mounts and adjust the bumper stop / re-install checking both clutch alignment and belt deflection. At that point you will for sure have found your problem.
Also pay special attention to breaking in a new belt.
