Thanks to all who have supplied info on the Frankensled conversion project. The only problem left is that after putting the new 583 motor in my Formula Sl the tachometer is working but is way off.
We tried swapping the tach gauge from the fomula z and it read the same way. What could cause the reading to be off. We are estimatinf idle at around 12-15 and the tach is hardly registering.
