Rode 65 miles locally last night from Massena to Brasher Falls. Left from the house, ride the ditches till we got to the trail, crossed Grasse river by the Walmart bridge.. see tracks so the are starting to run it lenthwise as well, but we didn't. Rode along side rt 37, icy in spots, but not too bad. Gassed up at corner store, headed to Helena, trails pretty decent, about 5 inches of snow on couple inches of ice packed very hard. Crossed river in helena, and went towards Brasher. This section of trail was very icy.. no snow in the corners, so slick the carbides would not even grab. When it widened out not so bad as the twisties. Got to Brasher State forest and the riding was great there. Seasonal roads had lots of snow, hard and flat from the ice underneath... just smooth and fast. Cruised through there and headed back for home.
