Everyone should love this one.
As I'm walking out of my local dealership the other day, after purchasing a new helmet, I looked down at the bottom of my receipt....
NO RETURNS - NO EXCHANGES
Has anyone ever seen that before? Thats GARBAGE from a place like this.

I have seen "No cash return" from your smaller mom & pop shops. If your able, i would find another "Dealership". Thats BS!

kinda makes you not want to go there anymore...it must be nice for them to know that if they screw up and give you the wrong part...TOUGH LUCK! I say stick to the small businesses in your hometown, avoid dealerships...

Often that's just their stated policy but they will in fact let you return stuff. Certainly if you're a regular customer and they want to keep your business, and you buy a helmet for the wife, bring it home and it doesn't fit, I'm sure they'd exchange it for you.

I'm sure their policy is based at least partially on.........
1-some folks might need a spare helmet for a weekend which they'd try and return on Monday
2-a smaller shop that would replenish their stock promptly and wouldn't wanna be stuck with two of them when you return it 3 weeks later.
3-if you really want the helmet / if fits properly why would you wanna return it anyway?
Sorry, don't see why your so upset.

I don't think anybody will exchange a helmet.
How would you like to buy one knowing someone might have sneezed in it.
Just like Fruit of the Looms and Speedo's
Cycle World in Toronto won't and they are big

It's not about the helmet, that was just the basis for my visit for the store. I just want to know whats going to happen when I go into the store to get a set of carbides, or plugs, and they give me the wrong ones....

You're going to have to ask them! That policy is not good customer service, but they would have to be total idiots not to exchange the wrong part for the correct one. That would be reason alone not to go there.

I would assume that if they gave you the wrong part, they would swap it out for you,,, I have been in retail for a long time and I know that the policies are in place, but they dont dictate how you handle every situation.
We actually had a guy that came in today and wanted to exchange his work boots for another pair,,, he had no receipt, wasnt sure when he bought them, and there was a cut down the side, looked like a razor blade did the cut. To top it off, HE WAS WEARING THEM!!!!! Needless to say, he is still wearing them.
