well my buddy has a 96 indy 500 classic and 98 indy 500. We are tryin to switch the 98 skid into the 96 and it aint lining up right. Is there any way we could switch all the suspension components onto the 96 skid so it will line up?
all help is appreciated. THanks

Without really being familiar with Polaris' sleds, imo this shouldn't be too difficult.

Can you get the skid at the front arm bolted into the tunnel? You may have to drill new holes in the tunnel to acommodate the rear arm because the distance between the holes may be different. Just measure the 1998 sled's distance between the holes (center to center) in the tunnel and then drill new holes in the 1996 sled, or maybe even move the whole bracket.

What exactly is the problem that you are having?
