Thumbs up

A couple wks ago, a buddy and I got out and onto a 1 1/2 mile stretch of prime, flat, open trail. He is on a MXZ600 studded and I am on my 2002 zr600. My sled has only 600 miles on it, and is completely stock except for the 96 studs I put in (center pattern). I topped out at 88 mph the first run, 102 the 2nd, 87 the 3rd, and 90ish on the 4th run. The sled is quick up to 75-80 even on the slow runs, but then seems to have nothing left. On the 102 run, it just kept on going- seemingly wanting to go faster. While trail riding, it seems to want to go most of the time, while other times it seems to only have enough to get up to 90 mph or so. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT MIGHT BE GOING ON?
