Snowmutt and myself went to Traverse City Michigan this past weekend to check out what will be our weekend getaway pad.. My parents just bought this home and will be in Florida during the winters so that leaves it all open to us.. It's going to be different riding out of Traverse City because we have never rode over there.. We checked out the trails leading into town and got a trail map while we were there.. Looks like some pretty country to ride in.. Has anyone ever rode over that way?? I know I will still spend most of my time in the U.P however because I know there's awesome riding up there but for a quick weekend getaway this will work..

Very Very nice! I wish I had a connection like that. Maybe someday I will. The best I have now is that a friend bought some property
near Mancelona, Mich @ Lakes of the North. Hopefully
We can start building there SOON! But as you are I am U.P.
spoiled love it up there even more. LET IT SNOW!!!

The place looks nice! As for riding in that area, I did not have a good time in Cadillac. That was in the early 90's and I hope things have changed in that area. I haven't cared to go back since then.

Nice!! It's always nice to have a place to use for your "getaway" hobbies.

Congradulations, on the weekend house.
Lots of luck and hope you enjoy it.

I am going to have to check out this UP thing, it seems like I am missing out.
