hello, when i got to pull over my sled (97 zr440) the recoil dont grab everytime, has something came off, didnt use to do it this bad, or do i need a new recoil? thanks

sounds like its time to rebuild a/c makes a kit comes with new dogs and springs

garbage just gets in there and they stick, rebuilt kit is cheap and easy.

Mine does the same thing. *Best bet is the kit as mentioned. *You can also pick up used recoils for relatively cheap at a shop that sells used sled parts too, but most likely the used recoils will need the kit some time soon as well!haha
I think cat has the worst recoils of the top 4. *Have never had good luck with them for any lenght of time.

My lawnmower has the same problem. *Maybe I should just take it apart and clean/lube the mechanism.
