Hey all,
I'm looking to put 96 studs on my stock phazer track. I don't think there is a need for anymore with this small sled and my style of riding.
I found these on e-bay, and was wondering what you guys thought of them. Also, looks like I'd have to buy nuts and backers correct? Are these expensive?
Here is the link:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/Snowmobile-LIBERTY-STUD...1QQcmdZViewItem
I might also just wait until the snowmobile show in late October so I can actually buy an entire package, but I'm trying to keep costs down. (Still a student).
Thanks for any help.
If that link doesn't work, the studs are: LIBERTY STUDS .875 LONG with a 7mm thread. I just searched snowmobile studs on e-bay.

While you're at it, try www.shadetreepowersports.com. They are having a sale (15% off right now).

Check out this site, they have extremely good pricing on Woody's products, and the experience to help you with picking the right studs for your application.

Two years ago at the fall show in T.O. we bought a pile of cheap no-name studs, nuts and backers for a dollar a piece taxes in. Yes they are not the quality of Woodys but for our moderate trail riding style they have been great. Depends what you're after.

That is why I posted that link Corey, they have Woody's studs for LESS than a $1 a stud with backers.

I have a lady up in Canada that I bought seconds from off ebay. I have simply got in touch with her everytime I end up with a new sled and need studs. I believe that studs on my firecat are from excaliber and I only had one pull out, no bends, no breaks, and they are still in very good shape,,, right at 2500 mile.
If I remember right, I bought 144 studs, green backers, and nuts off her and the total with shipping included was right at 100$. For that price and the service she has always given me,,,, I cant go wrong.
I can dig up her name if you need it, pm me to let me know.

I won this woody's certificate at the SW.com Cochrane ride this year and don't think I'll use it. $100 and it's yours. Studs N carbides. You pay the tax and duties.
Here is a pic. PM me if interrested.
