Nice job on the mount. Did you get to use this last year. I have a similar mount for my Legend. Do you find the Gps stays in the holder? Is it a friction fit, Which mine is. I find on the lake it bounces off a few times. I'm going to add a thumb screw to try and tighten it up.

No, I just put the mount on it a few days ago. But, I shouldn't have any problems with the GPS coming out of the cradle since it "snaps" in pretty tight....real tight actually, I've got to use a SMALL screwdriver to pop it out of the cradle.

You'll have to keep us updated on it this winter. Mine is only a friction fit and not real tight. I don't think it was for my Gps originally.

After losing my GPS twice (backtracked and found it) I use a tight fitting O-ring to insure not losing it again...see it between the screen and buttons.

Well, after a season of riding I'm happy to report that the GPS mount worked flawlessly! The GPS never once came out. Although, after putting on my 7" risers it made the unit a bit harder to see....but it was there when I needed it and worked great.

I used a Marine mount for my Gamin 60c and fastened where the optional gage would be on my rev. I bought a Velcro strap and loop it through the strap on the gps and then around my handle bars just in case it comes out but so far so good.

Used a ram mount on the handle bars with the frictions clip without any problems
