Hello all,

I am looking for the store with the best/cheapest prices for the Garmin 76C model.

Has anyone had a better deal?

www.deepblueelectronics.com $345 (on sale until 10/15/05)

The next closest price was $365 at www.gpsonsale.com and www.gpsnow.com

We are forced to buy a new GPS because our old one got stolen. We researched the different models and liked this one the best. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Haven't priced them out but I would let your fingers do the walkin. Type in bestbuy, cabellas, circuit city and radioshack and anything else you can think of and see what that tells you.

what is the diff btwn the 76 and 76c?

Thanks for the reply!

There are a few differences between the two models but the main ones are:

76 has 8MB of memory, 4 level grey LCD, 125 waypoints and 16 HR battery life

76C has 115MB of mem, 256 color, 250 waypoints and 30 HR battery life

I have checked all the websites you have suggested and still find that deepblueelectronics.com is untouchable by at least $15 -$20. I never heard of them before so I am a little hesitant about buying through them.

I have the 76C and it's a great unit. Try www.gpscity.com for pricing on the units and accessories

Try http://froogle.google.com

Search lowest to highest. I've seen some pretty good deals on there.
