Uhaul will rent a flat bed trailer that will fit 4 sleds, but you will have to do something to tie them down.

I don't know of any place that actually rents sled trailers. Perhaps somebody else will.

good luck,

We looked earlier this year, no luck. Trailer outlets want to sell you a trailer. My brother asked @ a place that had a couple of used trailers sitting in the yard & they weren't interested in renting them.

You could try Waynes World in Bancroft . He might rent you a demo. He is also the new U-Haul guy here in town , so who knows. He might even steer you to a guy he knows who owns a four place enclosed trailler that he never uses . Neighbour rented it to move south. Anyways good luck.

I once rented a double from Rocky Island Tire in Bracebridge. They sell several lines and may have what you need. Proline Rentals (Polaris dealer) in Port Carling also rented a couple years back.

How are U Haul's trailers for reliabilty? They seem to have a lousy reputation for their trucks' roadworthiness. The Toronto Star & the OPP can vouch for this.

:christmas: Sorry I can"t remember the name of the trailer place in Acton Ont. It"s just n of Hwy 7 on the west side of Hwy 25. I"m pretty sure I saw a sign that they rent. If nobody responds to knowing of this place tonight I"ll go by there in my travels and write down the name & number. I drive truck and see so many places but I"m sure it"s the one.

U-Haul is a pain.
Service is slow.
Maintenance is non-existant.
Trailers weight a ton.
Wiring harness connectors used are from some other galaxy. But they'll sell you an adapter.

Just plain pathetic! A last resort.

The trailer rental place in Acton Ont. is called Yourway Auto. Sorry I didn"t get their ph. # for you. Tried to stop but there was no place to park a tractor-trailer. Their sign says trailer rentals. SWRules
