OK - children, here comes another history lesson.
Tumble Inn - is now tumbled and long gone. It was at 123 and m28. As far as the wet t shirt nights - I left prior to viewing the contestants in wet regalia. They might just have come from another planet.
Bear Trap - location Eckerman, just north of 123 and m28. Once called King Tut's Bar and owned a by a very nice woman named Mary. Back in the 60's it was a favorite haunt of at least one deer hunter with a poor grasp for DNR regulations. He shot 12 deer one year and ended his "season" only because the deer had started browsing on cedar.
Silver Creek - halfway between Echerman and Parasdise. Owned by Don Campeau during the 60's. Quite the character that knew the country better than a born and bred local.
So much for long term memory - Don't have a clue where the lost caption pic is from.

Heard stories about the Tumble Inn...
I know I saw " Bear Butt" on that bar in Eckerman...It may have been the bear trap at one time but as of two weeks ago it is the Bear Butt...
I'm sorry the Silver Creek Bar is closed, I always thought all the dollar bills all over was kind of neat to look at. I wonder how much money was actually on the walls and ceilings..
Ok,, onto the pic... Heck if I know.. but I would have to think its somewhere over by Seney considering the Date, snow conditions, and where Dave was ......

i was up in Paradise Saturday, and I talked to a friend of mine there about the Silver creek bar. She said that the owners are goin through a divorce. Don't know if they will open it back up, or sell it.
As for the bar in Eckerman. It's always been "The Bear Butt" as far as I can remember
