for the first time in my travels i went to princess auto in ktichener. alot of people tell me how great the place is but i found it a little mid 60's canadian tire-ish and a whole lot of junk price reflected quality stuff. i bought some rough service bulbs and cotter pins, so i got out of the for under $15.00.

to me the place was full of tools so low quality that you wouldn't give them to the wife for her toolbox. there were some big pipewrenches and trailer wheel bearings that interested me but that is it.
how about the TSC stores? i like those stores.

Buyer beware, yes lots of junk but also can find some real bargains if you keep an eye out.

Some of their stuff can be good deals, particularly for the home mechanic who needs a little used specialty tool, and won't use it enough to break it. They have some really good prices on some stuff. I'll agree though, you have to watch out, as a lot of the stuff is low grade junk.

We've bought a few things there, but not much. We've never bought tools there that I can remember.
They just built a big new Princess Auto in Saskatoon. Spent about a hour just walking around and looking.
Our neighbor bought a bunch of bearings for his disk there. They're a special bearing and he got them for 6 bucks a piece. So far he hasn't had any seze up on him yet.
They've got some stuff that's kind a interesting to look at, and they got some stuff that you just gotta shake your head at.

did anybody see the 2 wheeled sled dolly for moving the sleds on pavement and grass.???i think it was 169.00 i gotta get me one of those.
I also seen some racers at the grass drags using them they just wheel there sleds right up to the line with these save from heating up there motors and saves the picks to i guess.
i also bought a helmet bag for 14.99 its not the pretty skidoo helment bag with the logo,s but it does the job. w00t

I bought atv and sled covers when they were on sale. It cost $78.00 plus tax for all four versus $49.00 for one at Royal. Cheap vinyl vs. cheap vinyl it was a deal. The sled jacks were $48.00 which wasn"t a bad deal either. I"ll bend the hooks a little more or maybe change them as they are weak. As for the quality of their stuff it"s a lot to be desired. SWRules
