does any one know how to change the center to center distance.bought a tool it is showing the motor needs to go back a bit.but the front mounts arent movable.they are just a hole and not slotted.not much sense checking the measurement if you cant change it.any help is appreciated.

You're talking about the centre to centre of the clutch shafts? Before you panic too much loosen the base nut that secures the motor mount to the frame and see if that gives enough play to line up. If that doesn't give enough you may need to get some shim stock to place under the feet. At this point it gets pretty touchy, need patience and bloody knuckles.
