Heya all, just want to say that I've been browsing the boards since I joined earlier and i'm very impressed with the lack of brand bashing there is here. It seems alot of you are Doo riders from what I've seen so far and thats cool by me as long as yas dont mind the lone ranger out here on the F7 Alot of other snowmobiling forums I have checked out in the past are nothing but a bunch of brand bashing and other senseless garbage. I'm here for support, advice, and moral backing when we are lacking snow......much like now lol. I look forward getting to know yas as a community..a community that all have one thing in common...Snowmobiling on the brain.
I was also wondering if there are any members in the NY, Vermont area possibly. Most of yas seem to be from Mich or Canada from the lil bit I've gathered in the past few hours. I ride in Warren county NY mainly and all around the adirondack region for that matter and make occasional weekend trips to the Tug Hill plateau region of NY state as they usually have double the snowfall that we have near home at any given time.
Here is a pic of me doing my favorite thing......Hangin Ski's! (PRE-owning pretty riding gear, lol, Carhartt jacket and doubled up pants....GET-R-DONE!!) Got pretty red gear to match for this season...if we get any snow of course.
Couple things i forgot to mention... My name is Dan and I'm definetly an addict! Also I love the theft deterrant idea with the polaris cover...gotta show a buddy that post he'll get a kick outta that.(He is a die hard Polaris fan, lol)

Red.....Welcome to SW .......so glad your here.. Love your pic... As you stated we all get along here pretty well.. No need for any bashing or fighting on SW as we all know different brands make the sport interesting. It would be pretty boring if we all rode ski-doo's.. ( or would it) ? Just kidding.. Your sled looks awesome ! I know I speak for everyone when I say we look forward to your snowmobiling input.
WELCOME !

I tried messaging you, but i don't think it worked.
I ride mostly out of Eagle bay (near Old Forge), and usually do a saddle bag trip a couple times a year to the tug hill. There are a few of us from NY here, but there are a lot of canuks, , just kidding. See ya out there.

Welcome to SW Dan, like the smiley addict says SW is very addictive. The only sled bashing around here is only in fun. I do alot of sled bashing & my friends that don't ride real sleds I mean other brands, do it too. It gives us a good laugh, but we don't care what you ride as long as we are having a good time & enjoying the sport we love. The people here on this site are great & very helpful to any problems that you might have. Do a snow dance & I hope we get some cold temps & lots of snow
