I was blasting along fine across the lake and it just died, no explosion, it just cut out??????
is this a symptom of a fuel pump gone bad?

Not likely. Is this your first time out this year? Have you checked the plugs to see what they look like? Checked compression? These are a few of the things we will need to know before we can help.

Yes it was my first time out this year, plugs are new and were totally dry when I pulled them out after it quit, I just did a compression test today and found my problem. Sitting on the sled the right bank cylinder has only 24psi compression and the left has 152psi. Now I have a project!, I've heard that it is not a difficult job to do, I do have some mechanical sense, or should I leave it to the pro's???

Thank you for your input it is very much appreciated

Travis

Most can handle it themselves, but if you have any doubts, it might be best to have someone else do it. We are alway willing to lend a hand here if we can.

Mr. Idooski

thank you for your input again I appreciate it, and will keep you posted, I have a friend who is a ski-doo mechanic so I will be doing the job with him so that I can learn better myself.

Thanks again

Travis
