Just wondering if anyone has tried this...a friend told me that if i took the stock clutch off and put a cat one on it would be easier to work with i guess..what do you guys think?

parts may be cheaper, but I cant see it any easier,,, I have seen a couple of ski doos that were clutched beyond belief,,, The 2 that come to mind right away are probably the 2 best clutched sleds that I have seen.

It seems like this used to be a common mod 10 or 15 years ago. But these days I think your money would be better spent on a good clutch kit.

I put a Hyper Lite secondary on my sled. It is very similar to a Cat roller secondary. It is way better than the stock Doo secondary. Better straight line performance, better backshift and way cooler belt temperatures. I remember kits to put a Polaris primary on Rotax engines but in all honesty the TRA III is pretty good.

I would recommend Cudney Racing. Best customer service in the business. Keep in mind the prices on his site are Canadian dollars.

Nope not at all. The Helix's come ready for RER. In all honesty my primary and secondary run so cool now I can't even warm my fingures up off of them when befopre i could roast weiners on them.
