A Big Bog And Some Pops

well i was just testing my sled today, just finished putting a mach1 engine it in..

It idles perfect, 2 shots of prime and starts with one pull ( I love primers now, lol )

anyways, when i went to take off it stats to bog really bad, then when im at 25kph
it just rips, then i slow down it make like a pop or a craking sound and i can bearly take off again because it bogs..

it has KN filters on it because the mach1 aribox would fit in my sled, so im going to need to jet the carb or somthing soon.. but i dont know why it bogs like that..

anyone have any ideas?, thanks

Based on the 'poping' I would assume it's running too lean, either the carbs are dirty or the low speed jetting is off, especially if you've removed the air box.

im going to take apart the carbs tonight and clean them..

i will check the RAVE valves as well...but my right carb (mag) is almost falling off the engine..

i wonder if i can get a angled boot and turn it sideways so i can clear my steering shaft?

What did you drop into?

the mach1 engine is a 1992 617cc, and i put it into a 2000 touring 500F/C

today i cleaned the carbs and rave valves but their is still that bog, but his time no it just bogs then get to speed slowly...it sound like my friends old tnt engine
