I did a search, but that did not answer my question on riding at sea level. I am looking for a pipe(s) for my 800 that will give me more top end speed and power on the lakes. I looked at Dynoports single and was impressed with the power it made, but am thinking once set up right, twins may offer more. I can buy a set of crankshop twins with canisters for 400, are crankshops for flatland or more for higher up? What else do I have to do to get the pipes reliable? I will be running a tempaflo.

pretty much any literature you read will show better results from twin pipes (or triple) over the single any day. So I would go along with twins giving you better performance. Just remember, you are going to want to run more air/fuel through it to get the most out of your pipes and your also going to want to have it reclutched. Maybe I am getting old, but dumping 500$+ into a sled to get 10 or 11 more hp just doesnt seem worth it anymore,,,,
