just picked up a 1987 ski doo formula plus. seems to run good but know nothing about the machine other than it needing some track clips. looking to find some good sites for information i.e. repairs, maintenance, parts.
any information would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jamie

Very fast for the vintage

90+hp red rocket

521cc type 536 40mm

engine is RELIABLE

16.5 x 114 track(15inch wide option)

problem with that track is its convolude sprockets which rip the track easier then the involude tracks the other manufacture used then and was hard with track clips

You can get a involude track and sprocket kit for them and is recommended

the 87 version was the last PRS chassis without tapered tunnel

Its had a fairsize tank for the year 9gal canadian which was a bonus

Youve come to the right place if your looking for info on any sled. Stick around a little later in the summer and there will be a lot more members that dont get on as frequently in the summer. I know someone on here will answer any question that you have.
