so i see there's a stateside ride planned...is anyone planning a canadiian ride for this coming season?
i plan on hitting either http://www.laurentianlodge.com or http://www.deerhurstresort.com myself for a week this winter, either location would be great for a ride. the latter has snowmobile rentals available, but the former most likely will have more snow! there is also http://www.tapatoo.com which i plan to go for a weekend if the snow is looking good, as it's located outside of parry sound....probably not a good idea to use that one for a ride since who knows what the winter will bring this year and iit's kinda southern..
thoughts? heck maybe there is already a thread started but i missed it!

That sounds like it would a great ride. But unfortunatly I already commited myself for a week ride. That takes up my vacation time for the winter. Perhaps in the next season. I should be able to pull of two weeks in the winter. I would just have to give up a hunting trip for it. huummmmmm tough choice though. Snow Prowler.

There will most likely be another Canadian ride. The first year was in Haliburton, the following two in Cochrane. Once the sled show comes and goes, you'll see alot more activity here ..... hope to get a chance to ride with you.
I've rented a place in Muskoka for the month of Feb this year, and I'll be taking at least a week off during the month to enjoy it. I'll also be spending a week end at Grandview (Huntsville) and likely a long week end in Cochrane

There are many groups planning rides this upcoming winter in the Huntsville/Muskoka area, check out prostate extreme team they're having two sled rides this year, one on the 17th Feb in Bala, the other on the 24th Feb in Bancroft. I hope to make it to the Bancroft ride, and then going North to Cochrane or there abouts for the remainder of the season (would like to make it for more than one week, would like to go for a month, but I don't think the wife will like that too much!!!) Plus, in April, I'd like to take the wife out west to Revy for some deeeeep powder playing. I think I might have to get a full time job again, or another job period!! Hope to see more peeps this season!! I can't wait!!

Holy Smokes Mike!!!
You left yourself wide open on this one.
Obviously Paul hasn't seen this yet.
I know he wouldn't be able to resist.
Take care and talk to you soon.
