bought this sled as is to fix up for in-laws to ride. need some carb specs if anyone can help me out. starting point for air screws,do floats get set at level to carb body? to do a carb slide adjustment what do you start at 3/16 or what drill size is used? I have no Polaris dealers close anymore so I don't want to make a bunch of trips for these specs. trying the phone just doesn't work as the service people are not very friendly when you need specs. thanx in advance.

think you splitting hairs with the float level stuff. give them a good cleaning with all the jets and air/fuel screws out and youll be much better off. air screws 1 1/4 turns out. to set the idle, warm it up and shoot for 1200-1500rpms.

Sounds like you are on the right track to me if you are looking to just go through everything for a start point.

try going to Polaris Microfiche if you want any specs. Not all of them are there, but some of them are. I have the same sled, I'll see what my settings are and let you know.
