I got a 74 arctic cat 440 single carb fan cooled snowmobile and i was wondering if it was oil injected? because theres a tank on it that looks like it has tranny fluid in it and there are high pressure hoses going from that to the chain drive but theres also another litte hose that goes to the carb that runs from that with a linkage that looks like it could open a valve and put oil into the carb. Also does anybody have a wiring diagram for this?

http://www.alpha-sports.com/arctic_cat_parts.htm Has a parts diagram I chose 1974 VIP 440, im assuming thats what you have.

Only from looking at the diagram it looks like it has oil injection, one part is a "oil injection rod" I have no knowledge of that snowmobile other than looking at the parts diagram, I'm sure someone else here has had one of those before and would know more.

I believe thats the hydralic torque converter. Not oil injection. Be sure to use pre mix fuel or you'll be in trouble.
