First time I ever started a topic. I got one with my bow on Nov. 3rd. , but haven't hardly seen anything since then. Yesterday was a awesome evening to be out in the woods, but didn't see a thing. I hunt in Jackson or Hillsdale counties. Mostly state land, but I do have access to one property in southern Jackson county that is great. But the owner will let anyone hunt there so it is almost worse then state land. :bash: If you got some good stories let's hear them.

Happy New Year to all.

Usually we spot lots of wildlife along the shoulder of the roads up here but this year nothing. Must have to do with the mild temps and no snow.

I had a good year.
Both deer within 60sec of each other. He was following her, and apparently thinking with the wrong head.

I only made it up to the cabin for the first full week of rifle season, Nov 15th on and saw nothing! With this darn stomach flu and boss' vacations I can't get away. Now, next week the kitchen get's remodeled and there I am, dead in the water.

I killed one doe on opening day and nothing else since. I did see one big buck but he was long ways off and I never saw him again. I didn't hunt that much do to the warm weather. Its hard around here to find a cooler to put one in.
I did get a digital trail camera and put it out last week. It was out for 7 days and I got 33 pics. I was surprised the amount of traffic. However it was all at night. There was one decent 8 pointer but he is a little out of range of the camera and it is dark. Here are a few pics from the cam.
