Here's some pics of my gps mount on my sled. I have a lowrance ifinder hunt color gps with a ram mount system on my polaris 700 touring. this mount system is very versatile, the ball stud you see mounted to the handlebars allows infifnite adjustment to achieve the position and angle you desire so you can see your gauges and see the screen clearly. Also by mounting to the bars you don't ge the vibration you would get if it was mounted to the hood. It's also easily removeable so you can grab it and go quiclky when you get to a watering hole. I also have a suction cup mount I put in my truck.

Bought the same mount for my Lowarnce. Hopefully the new GPS and mount will be delivered on Monday so I have some new gadgets to figure out.

Looks good Dave, I don't know if you have any adjustment with it but you probably won't be able to see it while you are riding since your tall riser will make you want to stand up all the time. as for learning the operation of it I spent many hours playng with it at work (SHHHHHH).. seemed like I always found something new everytime I turned it on. SHD if you got any questions I could give you my number and and try to answer them over the phone vs. typing everything. Shawn

Don't have a pic as sled is at the cottage but I bought a universal cell phone mount and some 2" wide industrial strength velcro. Put the hook velcro on the cellphone mount and the fabric velcro on the back of the GPS. That industrial velcro holds like mad its tuff to get them seperated when removing the GPS, used it all last season never a hint of it coming loose. Had to almost pry the GPS off. Cell phone mount was $1 at the buck store and needed about another buck worth of the velcro. Used stainless nuts and bolts to mount. Whole deal was under $5 so I added an identical mount to the 2nd sled. I did use some Goop to add extra adhesion to the peel + stick velcro.
