FOR EVERYONE HOPING FOR BIG CHANGES I THINK YOUR GOING TO BE DISAPOINTED,SKS MODELS ARE SUPPOSSED TO BE IN EDGE CHASSIS,AND PRO-X CHASSIS IN XC 'S.THATS JUST WHAT I HEARD AND I'M COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH THAT .LETS PERFECT ONE CHASSIS BEFORE WE JUMP TO ANOTHER.ALL THESE FANCY NEW GADGETS AREN'T WORTH A CRAP IF THE SLEDS AREN'T REALIABLE.

Red face

If it is true That Polaris is going prox accross the board on the xc's I am extremely disappointed in them! Tell me this is all they can do! I am on my second Prox and have had alot of problems with the sled, although minor, and the sled is not as light as polaris would like you to think! I was really hoping I would be on a new Polaris next year Now it sound like if I want the latest and greatest Polaris has forced me to go to Cat or DOO angry: * * * * * *

Now you punks are talkin like yamaha riders. Strive for quality and perfection not less than par reliability and hyped up marketing strategies. *People target the company for its being foreign and not supercharged motors, where every last drop of pony is used sacrificing fuel economy and scrit. Now I am not brand loyal. I just look for the best consumer machines.

Love Polaris

jackpinesavage:the new doo and cat might be the latest but i'm not sure about the greatest or what gives you the idea that they are so great.from my experience every time some one comes out with a new sled the mags and people automaticlly think there some great super new sled.but more often than not many of these sleds go through there fair share of problems.just like the pro-x .why do you think the pro-x has only been available in limited quantities and to racers?to get them out and find there falts and down falls before they get into every consumers hands thats why!!!!look at the ski-doo zx chassis the first year 99 mx-z 600 is a joke compared to the 2002 zx's.it takes time you just notice it more on polaris cause thats what you ride.i've seen every brand break down and guve trouble.don't fool yourself its not only polaris.i've got proof i've got a 99 mx-z 600.had to rebuild motor from crank up with only 1300 miles on it.cause seal inside motor went.great sled i think not ,never touched a motor on the seven polaris ive had all having around 4000 miles on them.

I am looking at it from the point that we are paying alot of cash for these sleds! I am talking $7500 plus! we should have the latest and greatest no matter what sled we buy! Remember you can go out and buy a Ford ranger or and S-10 pickup for about 10,000 and I bet it cost those company's more money to produce a transmission that it cost sled manufactures to build a entire sled! and don't talk about volume because every sled manufacturer builds other things as well as sleds! This is just my opinion!

Polaris's new sled will be awsome with it's 6cylinder turbo intercooled cummings diesel. It will have 150hp & 600ft lbs of torque and it will go 250mph new chassis pipes coming out of the hood will be 6in in diameter. Handling will be from a twin I beam front end with 50in of travel and the rear will have a single shock set up with 60 in of travel.
this will be called the monster sled built for driving over the competition.
Polarises new race driver will come from the world of monster trucks ie GRAVE DIGGER.

you guys are totally right and i agree with most your points.i'll just say i like all the brands ,they all look good ,have there good points and bad,and all have there problems, like i tell most people that i talk to about buying new sleds buy the one you like the color of.i don't think you can go wrong.personally after this many years on polaris i find it hard to change.i tried this year with the doo andd didn't much care for it.but thats just personal preference.also i've found I can usually get the best price on a polaris around here were i live.also maybe not the case for everyone. but price and service are #1 priority for me.and my polaris dealer treats me great.so i'll stick with it as long as it works.
