Just wanted to get some quick feedback on a 06 700 fusion. I have been driving polaris all my life 500indy92,96, 600xcsp2000, 700sks1999. Just bought the 06 fusion 700. Can't get a read on them, sounds like there is some vibration to them? Others post good things. Any advice wouls be great,. Thanks in advance.

I have a 05 900 Fusion, so I'm no expert on the 06 700 version, however I've been told that most of the vibration issues were taken care of in the 06 model, as well as the vibration in the 700 wasn't as bad as the 900 to begin with. Aside from that, I don't know of any serious problems, as the major bugs with all Fusions were worked out before the 06 model was released. I bought an 05 model and had upgrades to make it an 06, minus the second set of injectors. This could be why I've never had any problems with my 05 Fusion 900, where others have had problems (they were horrible in their first year release to consumers, but numerous recalls prior to 2006 fixed apparently all of them).
I've gotten used to the vibration in the 900, so you should get used to the vibration in your 700 easier. If it gets to you too much, I find leather gloves aborb most of the handlebar vibration, and if the temperature is slightly warm octane enhancer will allow the engine to run more smoothly eliminating as much as 50% of the vibration.
All in all, you should be completely satisfied with your Fusion once you learn its handling capabilities.

I just picked up an 06 600HO and so far put a whopping 10 miles on the sled (no snow!). I have the M-10 suspension and it was a sweet 10 miles so far. Have not noticed any vibs even though mine has 2,000 miles on it already from previous owner (traded it in for an 07 "700" Fusion so he must like them). Hopefully we will get more snow this year to really test it. The only problem i had was the bogging condition for a few minutes after cold start up (had to feather the throttle a few times before it takes off). I keep reading it was the jets. Have to buy new ones to try out. Good luck with yours..

Bud has a 06 rmk 700 that he "took a chance" with after reading all the trash talk online. Good price was the real clincher. I've ridden it and didn't notice the vibration any worse than some of the other big twins. He vented the clutches better and put some different spindles on the front but that's about it. Its run strong all this season with no problems.

I HAD A 06 700 LAST YEAR AND THOUGHT IT WAS A PRETTY DECENT SLED. THE VIBRATION IS THERE BUT NOT AS BAD AS THE 900. OTHER THAN THE STARTER FALLING OFF I RODE 3500 MILES TROUBLE FREE.

I havea 600 fusion I have no vibration. Check the recalls on your sled there are 5 or 6 that are fixed under warranty.

He's talking about a 700, however it would be a good idea to see what warranty jobs have been done to your sled to make sure all upgrades are brought up to spec...what am I say? An upgrade is what you do to bring your sled up to spec... why am I still typing? Oh crap, yeah, make sure your sled has all it's upgrades done

Well took the 700 Fusion out for a test spin. I did notice the vibration, however I was looking for one. Nothing really after about 10 miles an hour. It has a tone of snap to it, feels like a rocket. Coners well, I really like the rider select. Totally happy, can't wait to put 100 miles on it. Thanks for all the input.
