O.K. So I totally rebuilt the suspension on wifes 583. Now how do I set it up so she doesnt get beaten to death every time she hits a bump? It seams like it bottoms out easy and launches back up, and she isnt impressed with her mechanichly challanged hubby right now.
The skiis seam to come up alot too. I have them set on the second to lightest notch, the rear spring is set all the way up, highest notch, and front shock is on the lowest setting..
Any help would be great.

I can't help you other than bumping your post for you and have you checked the manual on ski-doo.com...
They have the manual on there and i believe it says how to adjust the suspension properly.
go to sleds--> then operators guide
For the 96 Formula guide from page 53-70 is all suspension adjustment.

I had that exact sled. First off, I would purchase and install the AD Boivin coupler. It's easy to install and improves the "bucking" that you are experiencing. It also causes the front and rear skid springs to work together reducing the bottoming out.
Have your wife sit on the sled and check the limiter strap. Shorten the limiter till there is NO slack in it when she is seated. If it still lifts, shorten it again till the amount of lift is acceptable.
