We got arround 3-4 inches of snow two days ago so I could not resist the urge to take it for a spin down my parents dirt rd. I put a new track on it this season and had not had to mutch time to stud it yet. Boy now I know why I dont want to ride a sled without studs. The road was hard packed no traction what so ever even at 80mph spins track like crazy. This was the first time riding a sled with over 500cc with out studs and problay will be my last. I got to go for a couple blasts it the field by parents house arround 400 ft or so. This set up seems to be real revey (if thats a word). The sled felt great wow it yanks pretty good cant wait to stud it and get on that hard packed rd and let her rip. I know every thing feels fast on the first time out. Now I am getting excited to go up north. I been going crazy just talking about riding.

ballsout1, yes, I went to the 1.25" paddle track this year, but I am going to stud it as soon as I can afford to. 144 down the middle here.

I am waiting for the ups guy. I will be installing 192 studs this week. The sled is a 98 with the head cut thicker base gasket a jetted down. Brad from hrp did the work on it. With the new .750 lug track I tryed instaling 1.175 long studs boy were they to long. 5/8 penetration from top of lug. It was to mutch so I sent them back and got 1.00 inch and that should be just right at 3/8 penetration. I am hoping there will be enuff snow for the north american snomobile fest in cadallic Mi jan 31 feb 1-2 I think that will be my first trip.

I had hrp do their peformance update. I guess its some set up that brad uses for the mach Z. If I rember correctly the jets that are in it are 310-320-310. I am not sure what stock is so I might have mis quoted. They put a thicker base gasket under the cylinders and cut the head and do some thing with the reed stops because I got them back in a small bag. Also puts a diffrent spring in primary and a black ice cam.

I am sick and tired of bench racing its time to get it on.
let it snow * *let it snow * *let it snow.

I live in romeo mi. Its about 2.5 hours east of you. I bought my 97 mach z from brad and had him do the same thing to that one so I am pretty confident that it will run good.
