most sled of that age use 50:1 1qt per 5 gallons

and would happen to know what type of chaincase oil to use like 80 weight or would regular gear oil would work?

You can use synthetic automatic transmission oil in the chain caase. It's $4.99 a quart for Dextron 4.

i lied, sorry, actually read my manual wrong, its 13 oz of oil per 5 gallons.

i mix my elan 50:1 seems to have a nice tan color to it on the plug. For chain case lube i use 80/90 gear oil.
