What is the best way to set track tension...without a scale? Is thier a good rule of thumb besides loose as you can without racheting? Is it different for my 99' FZ 670 with the Boivin like suspension then say a SC-10.
Thanks in advance
Perma...I have the Boivin like ARM suspension in my 1999 FZ 670.
Thanks ... those pics were perfect. The Boivin X is an upgraded skid from mine But I would think they would be close... I'm running mine way to tight compared to those pics, That's robbing me of Ponies..Can't have that!
It is suppossed to be about 1" freeplay in the middle of the track with 20 pounds of pressure. I have no idea what 20 pounds of pressure feels like to your finger pushing it down. I would say a "firm" push of the finger is about 20 pounds, wouldn't you? (very scientific, aren't we...)
