Default Lower a arm

Is the lower a arm stabilizer bar that comes off the body and is the curved bar that goes int othe plastic holder on the lower a arm a necessity to have on?

looked like that just started putting them on in 06 an 03-06 has same suspension?

They are on all of them. I have an '03 and an '05 and they both have it. It's a torsion bar. You don't have to have it on there, but it aids in control by transferring pressures from one ski to the other offering a more stable ride. It also makes for flatter cornering without as much body roll.

The mountain guys remove that so that their sleds roll over easier when sidehilling.
Not a characteristic you want for flat land, trail riding.
It keeps you stable when cornering at speed.
