So what is the difference between an RMK 800 and an RMK 800 Vertical Escape.

Does any one know the specs on a 2003 RMK 800 Vertical Escape? weight, Horsepower, ECT.

136.9 HP as dyno'd by SLP, so I am looking at 150-155 HP with go fast goodies. If any one is looking for the HP on there sled check out SLP shows a lot of stock and parts improved dyno HP.

I have an 03 Escape and Weight is the biggest difference. Light weight seat made by Boss for Polaris, all susp arms front and rear are light weight chromemolly pieces, steering post, riser block and jackshaft are also light weight pieces. Not sure on actual weight but mine with the 800 triple swap is still sub 500 LBS dry.
Keep an eye on the susp arms they are prone to cracking (a little too light weight)

An 800 triple @ 500# I like the sounds of that, thanks for the info. Maybe a guestement for the 03 RMK VE with the 800 twin, about 475#-480#?

I read an article by AM snowmobiler saying that polaris said that the VE 800 was the same weight as a rmk 600, so if I could find the weight 600
