2000 ZL 600 Bog

2000 AC ZL600 2500 mi, bogs from idle, as soon as a split second passes, it takes off and runs as normal. I noticed if I hole the throttle just above idle when trail riding I can eliminate the bog.

Plugs clean and golden
Gas is fresh
Compression 125 in each

Any Ideas.

I would make sure carbs are both adjusted perfectly, throttle slack, air screws set to spec,, also what is the sled idling at?? is it to low? make sure all flanges, and air boots are tight and sealed.. hope some of this helps,,, let us know!! good luck!!

Sounds like it could also be due to the TSS (Throttle safety system)

You can troubleshoot this by temporarily disconnecting the 3 pin connector coming from the throttle. There should be a plug connector at the top of the steering column. Just unplug it there and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you need to figure out what that problem is. It could just be the plastic washers on the Throttle pivot pin are worn, or it could be a problem with the magnetic carb switches that sense the slide position, or it could just be your throttle cable is too loose.

Keep in mind that when you unplug that connector, your kill switch will no longer work, so be carefull
