Default 1992 RXL blinking light on computer

I have a blinking red light on the front part of the computer box. I have never notice this before. I have owned the sled for 4 years. Never noticed this before. Does anyone know what it means? It still blinks after the key is off too. Now the sled does not want to start. It did run last night though.

The blinking light is to tell you there is a fault in the system and a trouble code or several codes are present. If you count the blinks it will tell you what the code (or codes) is. You count the long pulses first and then the short ones . So if for instance you have one long pulse followed by three short ones then the code would be 13. Two long pulses and one short would be 21, and so forth .

If there are more than one codes then it will blink them in series and then return to the first one.

I had it running yesterday with no flashing light. I will look again tonight after I put the clutch back on. Does any have the codes once I get it read? Does it just keep repeating or only when the machine is turned off?

Was plugged in but it was wet from last weeks ride when I forgot to put anti freeze cap on. So I dried it off and put it back. Do I need to do something to reset the computer?
