Default Clutch skipping at low speed

My clutch seems to catch a little then stop and then catch a little then stop when I'm starting off from a complete stop. Its like its going on and off, on and off. It basically is the same as me revving it over and over. Once I get going like 10 mph its fine. Any ideas?
Thanks, Dave

Looking at both of the questions you posted, I'd say your problem is the same for both issues. Your belt has a burned spot on it...track got stuck, someone tried to power up the engine to break it loose and burned a narrow spot into the belt.

Pop a new belt on it.

Well I really haven't ridden it on the trails much since I got a new belt in the beginning of the season but maybe I just don't remember doing it. I did roll it once so maybe that somehow has something to do with the belt being burned. Either way, your suggestion of a burned belt would make sense. I'm not completely sold on that being the problem of the track noise but I'll replace it and find out. This weekend I'll pick up my sled and check it out.

Assuming a burned belt is the problem would it hurt anything to keep riding on it? Because I'm not sure when I can get a new belt.
Thanks, Dave

If you want to confirm the belt. Drive it slowly with the hood open and watch your driven clutch. It'll be jumping in unison with the "thump".

I wouldn't drive too much with a burnt belt. It will hammer the heck out of your clutches.

Ok, I'll probably pick up a new belt then. And I'll look before I change it to see if the on/off corresponds with the belt.
Thanks, Dave

Tractor's more of a warm weather machine. Get it? A tractor...like on a farm...plowing the fields...fields aren't frozen...
