Default What engine for a swap?

Is there a newer 700 engine that I could put into my 2000 RMK chassis? I would like to have the electronic reverse option. I have a aftermarket drop and rolled chain case so I can't put a mechanical reverse into my sled. Any good canidates for a swap? Also while we are at it was electric start ever offered on the 2000 RMK 700? More than reverse I would love to have electric start.
Thanks

Electric start could be purchased at the dealer as an option, but it did not come standard on any RMK models as far as I know. You need a primary clutch with a gear ring on it, and then the whole starter and battery system. It adds a lot of unnecessary weight, so was not a standard feature on most mountain sleds. Swapping in a PERC motor would be possible but I think you would need an entire PERC sled so you could swap out all the necessary parts and electronics. I believe it takes a different secondary clutch as well. Not easy by any means.
