just picked myself up a arctic 98 cat zf 600 and have a question that someone might b able to answer
i just couldnt wait till we got snow to try this sled out so i tried it in the yard a bit ....
i let it warm up for awhile (5 mins) and idel was perfect, a bit smokey but i figure maybe thats normal not being ran for awhile....
after that i took it for a spin... noticing right away that it was reving high 4-5k RPM to take off.... but maybe this is normal ...
i drove it in a bit of long grass and stopped for a second then tried to take off again but it would jus rev out and and the track would not move, i got off the sled and tried giving it some gas and it moved then shortly after the same thing again so i poped the hood and looked to see if the belt was spining when it was rev'd up but it wasnt....
my buddy would lift the sled for me and when i gave it gas it would spin the track no problem and fast if we wanted
i decided to put it away and come talk to some ppl about what this could be,
is it because it was on grass and is not made for that? or something else?
any input would be awesome
