I would be very greatful to hear from some of you Artic Cat riders out there. I'm looking to change things up (used to drive the old Indy's of the past) and am looking at maybe going for a Cat this time around. I don't have tons of $$ But am looking at anything from 99 -06 What is the best overall sled A/C made during those yrs??? Good ride and good motor!!!!!! Any and all opinions and tips would be greatly appreciated... Thanks
Depending on how much you want to spend, I had a 99 zl600 that was bulletproof, the F7's were a step up and fast but found that with the smaller track, they were unpredictable in deep snow. I now have 2 crossfires with long tracks and they suit me just fine. Good trail and offtrail capabilities. Biggest difference is the height of the ride which makes it more comfortable. 600 and 800 motors from Arctic Cat are awesome. As for power, I would stay away from the 500 motor. Happy Sledding One more thing, whatever sled you get, I would be getting a long track. My zl600 was a short track , and after a full day of riding, you felt the crap being knocked out of you.
